  • Do you offer telehealth/video visits?
    • Yes, we offer both video and in-office visits. We recommend having your first visit in the office. Follow-up appointments can be done by video or in the office depending on patient preference.
  • Do you prescribe compounded medications?
    • Dr. McCormack provides on-going care to patients who are taking compounded versions of GLP-1 medications. However she does not prescribe compounded versions of GLP-1 medications because they are not regulated, tested, or monitored for quality, safety, and efficacy by the FDA.
  • Do you use BMI?
    • We use a bioimpedance scale from InBody body to measure percentage body fat, visceral fat level, and other metrics to guide treatment. We also measure height and weight to calculate BMI which insurance companies typically use in determining coverage.
  • Do you bill insurance?
    • Yes we will bill medical insurance. We recommend asking your insurance company if Dr. McCormack is in network with your plan. If you wish to bill insurance please bring your insurance card to your appointments. We are not accepting new Medicare patients at this time.
  • What if Dr. McCormack is not in network with my insurance plan?

  • Should I bring anything to my first appointment?
    • Please bring your photo ID, your insurance card (if billing insurance). If you have any lab results from the last 2 years, and/or sleep study reports from the last 5 years please bring those as well.
