We set aside one hour for new patient appointments and half an hour for established patient appointments. Unlike most offices we do not double book patients. We find that this scheduling allows time for a relaxed visit and for the most part eliminates patient wait times. Patients are usually greeted by Dr. McCormack 1-5 minutes after arriving at the front desk, this delay is due to our need to prepare your electronic medical chart for your visit.
We ask new patients to arrive fifteen minutes before their appointment time with Dr. McCormack in order to fill out required paper work. If you have a complicated medical history or have trouble filling out forms you may need to arrive earlier.
If you arrive 10 minutes past your scheduled appointment time we may need to reschedule your appointment in order to stay on schedule for other patients appointment times. Please call us if you think you are running late, often we can see you at a later time the same day.
