About Us
Dr. Miranda McCormack
I graduated from MCP-Hahnemann Medical School in 1999, and completed residency in Family Practice at Hunterdon Medical Center in 2002. I was certified by the America Board of Family Medicine in 2002. After residency I worked in a small office in a rural dairy farm town in northern Vermont. In 2005 I moved to Portland and started working at Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Clinic’s Beaverton clinic. In February 2008 I achieved a dream of mine to open a solo private practice and I welcome you to become part of this practice. In July 2008 I was able to leave Virginia Garcia and devote myself full time to my office.
I have designed my office to be an intimate and comfortable setting for individualized medical care. As a family physician I provide primary care for patients of all ages. I treat both chronic diseases and acute illnesses. I also provide preventative health screening, health education, and medical advice. I help my patients find specialist care when needed. Since moving to the Portland area I have focused on outpatient medicine. When my patients need to be admitted to the hospital I coordinate care with physicians who specialize in hospital care.
When I’m not practicing medicine I enjoy cooking, dancing, skiing, and painting. I have recently started golfing which I usually enjoy. I’m happy to have found my home here in Beaverton.
